Inspiration At Its Finest

As I sit here and start to write this blog, I realize its finally happened. Here i am, KAZZ Clothing is in full swing, and I have no idea what I just got myself into. (AHHHH) The thought has been hovering with me for years, and the dream as now finally arrived. How do you soak this up?  How do you accept that you have made your dreams come true in some way or another?  I am still trying to absorb the fact that my clothes are finally done and now my website is finally up and running. I can sit here and GOOGLE MYSELF! (what an amazing and weird feeling). Its a weird feeling to be proud of myself and want to promote myself and my line, but at the same time I am extremely nervous.

I am stuck at the moment in wondering where I go from here? how do I get people interested in my designs, and what I have created, and want to support and grow my business...how? I will learn as I go and hopefully all goes well!

Now all this is done, and there is no time to relax! Fashion is always moving and changing and I have to go through all of it again. Not that I don't want to - I love, love, love what I do and am happy I found a way to show my creativity and see others enjoy it. I have already begun to start my winter collection and here it comes, another roller-coaster of emotions, stress, and ups and downs of owning your own company.

This is what I signed up for here folks! Let the games begin!

More Than Just Designing Clothes

I have been designing clothes since I was 12 years old.  At that age, my mom and Dad bought me a sketch book and that is where it all started. I would spend my money on anything fashion related: my art supplies to sketch drawings, magazines, clothes, etc. I guess that is what you expect from a typical girl at that age but I knew I was different - I knew I wanted to be a designer when I grew up.

Over the years, I continue to design in many different fields of work but nothing was as satisfying as designing clothes. It was my passion and I was always told to do what you love for work. So finally, with a little initiative and words of encouragement, I took matters into my own hands as started to pursue owning my business, KAZZ Clothing.

I started planning everything back in spring and its alot of work: registering business numbers, government tax numbers, logo creation, designing clothes, working with the manufacturer, and the list goes on...

It is a grueling process, but hey, its my passion and I look forward to the future.

Now time to focus on my accomplishments and designs.. Next step, creations for Winter 2012. Inspiration to be decided...
