New Redesign Launched & 'Made in Canada'

The redesign was something that I needed. I wanted my clothes as well as my website to reflect who I am and what the brand represents. Check it out! www.kazzclothing.com 


On another note, to keep you all in the loop, my S/S14 is almost completed! As guess what... I moved my manufacturing HOME! 'Made in Canada'. Everything from the fabric, to the labels and the full production is all done in Canada.

Back from Europe With A New, Fresh Insight on Fashion

Back home in the #yqr and refreshed with ideas and designs. London, UK and Lisbon, Portugal were AMAZING! Wow, do people know how to dress there. Us Canadian folks could learn a thing or two... just saying.

With the ideas flowing, I'm happy I brought my sketch book with me on my trip and sketched all on the way home and the first couple days back. S/S 14 collection is looking good:)

Also, I have been in conversation with some people at Fashion Society from Toronto and Montreal and it looks like they are going to help me find some buyers out east!
My mentor Kara from PARK is assisting me throughout this coming collection with the look book shoot, re-branding ideas, and selling and buying opportunities. Love her for all her help.

Saskatchewan Fashion Week = Success!

Now with Saskatchewan Fashion Week done, I can now take a deep breath (somewhat). Now it's time to organize all buyers and photography for the website! Sask Fashion Week was such a success and a great accomplishment for my brand. Lots of good PR and great coverage before and after my first runway show May 10th. I couldn't have asked for more:)

Mercedes-Benz StartUp Semi-Finalist

What an amazing experience it was. I am so honored to be a semi-finalist. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the top five, but I came out with so much more knowledge and understanding to improve my business/brand.  One of the judges Kara Chomistek believed in me and my business to go out of her way to reach out to me. She has taken me under her wings and is now my new mentor.  I just need to fine-tune a few things in my business and I WILL be a finalist next year.

Model Casting .. Check!

Model casting day for #skfwk  was such a success.  Lots to choose from which was amazing! Long day thought, but it was all worth it. Looking forward to my show! See you all in May:)

Tip of the Day

TIP: Mix textures with patterns but keep the color palette neutral. Creates visual interest without it being too much.

What a Rollercoaster Ride!

Just a couple of weeks ago,  my business took a scare when my manufacturer decide to just leave...As of now, this are settled, looking for a new manufacturer but all is good.

One of the most exciting things that is new is applying for the Mercedes-Benz International Runway Show! Application is in the works and meeting the panel May 20th! So much to prep for this but it is going to be worth it! I will be heading to Winnipeg this May for my interview, so wish me this best! Lets hope all goes good because this would be one DREAM COME TRUE!

I know business has its ups and downs, but this is new for me!  I am glad things are moving along positively:)
